Green Seeds USA

Green Planet’s USA focus is two fold.

First is Green Planet's support of student organizations and communities interested in creating learning farms. Green Planet aims to offer support through funding, resources and educational materials which educate future farmers about environmentally friendly farming practices such as composting, integrated pest management and proper water and soil management.

Funds will be used to help secure land, purchase seeds and equipment and support the wage of full-time staff and part-time student interns. Once established, a student farm can generate income through the sale of produce to the local university community as well as through tuition charged for educational activities hosted on the farm (elementary school tours, etc.). If you are able to donate to our efforts, please see our contributions folder or contact a Green Planet employee.

Green Planet's second USA focus is the supply of seeds and seedling to families and/or communities in need. This allows people to grow their own food, improve their nutrition, develop new skills and enhance the natural world.

Green Seeds - It's Elementary!

In celebration of Earth Day 2007, GreenPlanet donated over 250 tree seedling to the East Cooper Montessori School in Mount Pleasant, SC. Trees were distributed throughout the school community.

Green Seeds Jamaica

In 2008 GreenPlanet teamed with Trees for the Future and adopted a village in Cabaret. Haiti where over 5,00 new trees were planed.

Trees for the Future and other tree planting initiatives strive to plant and maintain native trees and gardens. Planting efforts attract moisture, grow food and medicines for the benefit of the community and spawn the creation of healthy ecosystems.

Green Seeds Africa

Providing seeds and seedling for undernourished families to grow their own food and improve their standard of living.
