Preliminary Evaluation
General assessment of a farm’s suitability for certification.
Full Self-Evaluation
In depth evaluation completed in good faith by applicant.
On-Site Inspection
On-site inspection of farm, fields and processing facilities by agriculture professionals
using Green Planet certification standards.
*Cost of trip is added to fee structure.
Report
Detailed analysis of findings and future plan of action. Contract, confidentiality
agreements and fee schedule are finalized.
Membership
Applicant allowed to use “Green Planet Certified” designation and
sustainability seals for labeling products and marketing farm.
Ongoing Follow-Up
Yearly site inspections; ongoing education, consultation
and support.
*New account inspections will be held every six months
until implementation of most standards satisfactorily demonstrated.
